What Hose Products Does Flexihose Supply to Saudi Arabia?
Flexihose India supplies four hose families to Saudi Arabia from a single plant: hydraulic hoses, industrial rubber hoses, suction and discharge hoses, and metallic and PTFE hoses, plus electrical insulating mats. Between them they cover bores from 1/8 inch to 14 inch and working pressures from 10 bar to 420 bar.
Every product is manufactured by Vardhman Hydraulic Hoses Pvt. Ltd. under the FLEXI HOSE® brand at our plant in the RIICO Industrial Area, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Testing is performed in our own R&D laboratory with all test equipment calibrated by NABL-accredited bodies.
Three products carry a live BIS licence: Water Hose conforming to IS 444 Type 2 under CM/L No. 8400124510, and Air Hose Type 1 and Type 2 conforming to IS 446-2017. Our electrical insulating mats have been manufactured in India since 1996, are ISI marked, and are ERDA and CPRI type tested. We ship factory-direct to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Jubail, Yanbu, Al Khobar and the NEOM/Tabuk region.

Working and burst pressures vary by bore within every product — for example SAE 100 R2 AT is rated 5800 PSI / 400 BAR at 1/4 inch but 1160 PSI / 80 BAR at 2 inch. How to Choose the Right Hose Products for Your Saudi Site
Four parameters decide which of our hose products is correct. Work through them in this order before requesting a quotation.
Start With the Media
The fluid or solid being conveyed decides the tube compound, and this is the parameter that most often gets a hose specification wrong. NBR for oil and fuel, EPDM for steam, SBR for water, NR/SBR for abrasives such as cement and fly ash, and UHMWPE for solvents and aggressive chemicals. A hose with the correct pressure rating but the wrong tube compound will still fail early.
Then Maximum Working Pressure
Specify against the system’s maximum pressure, not its normal running pressure. Across our hose products this ranges from 10 bar on the suction and discharge series to 420 BAR on EN 856 4SP/4SH spiral hose. Remember that within a single product the rating falls as bore increases, so always pair a pressure with a bore size.
Confirm the Temperature Range
Each product carries its own published service temperature, and these are not interchangeable. The range across the catalogue runs from −65 °C on SS PTFE Teflon hose to +260 °C at the top of that same product, with two-wire braid steam hose rated to +232 °C. In Saudi Arabia, sustained ambient heat and direct sun exposure make the upper limit the one to check first.
Finally, Bore and Length
Bore determines flow velocity and pressure drop. Undersizing causes heat and pressure loss; oversizing wastes money. Our hose products cover 1/8 inch through to 14 inch depending on family. Suction and discharge hose ships in 20 metre coils, so order in coil multiples where possible to avoid offcut waste.
